Children of Integrity

Through Children of Integrity we are helping to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the most vulnerable and abandoned in the world… the children.

This program is a response to the call to practice “pure and simple religion and to care for widows and orphaned children in their affliction and need” (James 1:27). Currently, Children of Integrity has three programs which are:

Mountains of the Moon Children's Center

Bundibugyo, Uganda

The goal of the Mountains of the Moon Children's Center is to purchase land and buildings to provide shelter, food, medical care, and education for orphaned children from the Bundibugyo area.

Did you know?

  • There are 9 million children in Uganda and 2.3 million of them are orphans.
  • The fastest growing segment of the Ugandan population is orphans.
  • The Ugandan Ministry of Health reports that out of the 2.3 million orphans in the country, about 50% are orphans as a result of HIV/AIDS.

Meto Children’s Library

Meto, Kenya

Integrity Worldwide is committed to building a children's library adjacent to existing school property in Meto. The library will contain books that meet Kenya's top curriculum requirements. We will also provide books for enjoyment, as well as an arts and crafts section.

Did you know?

  • Libraries provide a way to learn for children who cannot afford to go to school.
  • Libraries help children improve their studies since most schools provide only limited resources.
  • Libraries provide hope for a future by encouraging children to read thereby opening their minds to new ideas and plans which help break the cycle of poverty.

Mosquito Net Project

The Mosquito Net Project provides a simple and cost-effective way to save lives by preventing malaria, the number one killer of children and pregnant mothers in Africa. To aid in malaria prevention we are distributing insecticide-treated mosquito bed nets to as many at-risk individuals as possible in the areas we are serving. For just $10 Integrity Worldwide can purchase and distribute these treated bed nets under which a family of four can sleep. Bed nets create a protective barrier against mosquitoes at night when the highest rate of transmission occurs.

Did you know?

  • Every 30 seconds, malaria kills one child.
  • Malaria kills as many people as AIDS does, but the good news is that it is preventable.
  • Treated bed nets given to pregnant mothers and children under five reduce malarial mortality by 50%.
